A Look at the 2011 Toyota Highlander

Toyota has finally revealed the 2011 Highlander makeover. The newest Highlander will be a bit bigger than previous models and feature a revised front end, restyled headlights, a new hood and redesigned fenders.

There is also a hybrid variant of the 2011 Highlander and to separate it from the standard gas powered model, it will have a unique grille, fog lights and additional body-trim color.

The interior of both models will feature three row seating, front and rear air conditioning, rear privacy glass and a tilting/telescoping steering wheel. More luxurious options include a JBL premium sound system, GPS navigation and leather upholstery, heated front seats and a moon roof.

Under the hood, three different engines are available for you to choose from: A 2.7-liter four-cylinder produces 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, and the 3.5-liter V6 produces 270 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque.

The Hybrid version comes with a 3.5 liter V6 which can produce up to 280 horsepower. The fuel economy is good on the hybrid Highlander, earning a rating of 28 mpg in the city and highway.
