It’s fun to admit when you are wrong. Sometimes car companies are so stubborn that they keep on making the same ol’ ugly cars for years before they finally give in. Trust me, we hear it all the time about Toyota favorites and Toyota blunders. We compiled a list of your least favorite Toyota models from the past.

1984 Toyota Van

ToyotaYeah, so that happened. It was a bus with four awkwardly-positioned tires underneath the middle of the van. When we say it was sharp, we mean the nose came to a point. By no means was it as sharp looking as our Sienna. However, if you were feeling like entertaining a few friends or your family needed cold beverages on the way to the public pool, the LE option allowed consumers to add an icemaker that was cooled by the A/C refrigerant lines. Too bad the Previa lost the feature here in the states in the 90s.

1994 Toyota RAV4

The RAV4 has come a long way. Thank goodness. The crossover looked like a cross between a bubble and a nose when it was first released. The company released the RAV4 to appeal to more women, but they weren’t impressed. Disappointing sales pushed Toyota to rethink the crossover. Now look. We are doing much better.

Toyota Yaris Verso

The US was spared, but overseas they had the chance to feast their eyes on the Toyota Yaris Verso. Sorry about that. How do we describe the strange creature? It has a short, stubby nose, and a strangely tall hatch. Toyota made the vehicle between 2000 and 2004. The MPV van had five doors, and in some markets it had a four-wheel-drive drivetrain.
