halloween-224x300Halloween will be here next week, and we want to make sure you and your little ones have a safe holiday. When your little princesses, ghosts, goblins, and sports stars hit the streets, keep a few pointers in mind.

Halloween Safety Tips

Consider these important tips to keep you safe this year:

  • Go trick-or-treating when it is still lit up outside. Avoid trick-or-treating with little ones on dark roads or in dark neighborhoods.
  • Do not allow kids to eat unwrapped candies or homemade treats from people who they don’t know.
  • Use reflective tape and clothing, and load up on the glow sticks.
  • Do not allow kids to go trick-or-treating alone.
  • Stay on sidewalks and in walkways.
  • Carry a flashlight.
  • Don’t text while you are walking on the roads with your kids. You should be holding their hands or keeping your eyes on them at all times.
