The Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market is more than just your average farmers market. You can find almost anything you need all in one place whether that’s fresh fruit and produce, candy, baked goods, or meats. The market is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Here are some things to do at the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market.
Get Your Sweets and Candies
There are several vendors selling sweet treats and candy at the market. The Amish Village Bake Shop and the Mary Ann Donut Kitchen always have fresh-baked goods, and you can get candy at Mink’s Candies and Gifts.
Eat Lunch or Dinner
While you are shopping at the market, you can stop and eat lunch or dinner at Bada Bingg, Billy’s Pretzel Wrap & Fried Chicken, or Charlie K’s Pizza. There is also a restaurant that offers foods from the Mediterranean, and Dan’s Bar-B-Qued Chicken is a must stop.
Get Your Fresh Produce
The farmer’s market has an abundance of fresh produce throughout the building. You can pick up your snacks at Bedway’s Fresh Fruits and other produce at Berghold Produce and Red Barn Produce.
Pickup Gourmet Treats
Bring something special home from one of the gourmet shops. Heffelfinger’s Coffee, Tea & Specialty Foods has gourmet coffees and teas, and the Nut Hut has a variety of nuts and snacks.
There are so many shops and vendors at the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market that you can find almost anything you need.
