Allentown is only an hour and a half from Philadelphia, where the “Philly Cheesesteak” got its name. Several restaurants in the Lehigh area have perfected this sandwich. Take a look at these five Allentown restaurants where you can get an amazing Philly cheesesteak.

The flavors are what you’d expect from a Philly cheesesteak, but what makes Zandy’s stand out is its sandwich’s size. There is more meat than you’d expect, but the bun contains it well. Make sure to eat your cheesesteak before it gets soggy, though.
