The 166th annual Great Allentown Fair welcomes visitors from Wednesday, August 29 until Labor Day, Monday, September 3. The tradition of food and fun began in October 1852 on Livingston’s Lawn. Today, the fair has grown in size since that first event. It now resides at the Allentown Fairgrounds.

On opening night, August 29, 311 and The Offspring take the stage. Tickets for the show start at $39. Gabriel Iglesias brings his “One Size Fits All” tour to the fair. The man known as “Fluffy” will bring laughter to the audience on Thursday, August 30. Tickets cost $29 and $49.

Country music fans will take pleasure in watching Sugarland with Frankie Ballard and Lindsay Ell perform on Friday, August 31. Tickets range between $59 and $99. On Labor Day weekend, fans of 5 Seconds of Summer can watch their favorite group sing on September 1. Tickets begin at $59. The fair hosts its traditional, family-friendly demolition derby on Labor Day. You can purchase tickets for the Beast of the East Championship on Ticketmaster, as well. Children 12 and under are $10, while standard tickets are $15. Fees are not included with these prices.
