Recent Sightings

Documented Sasquatch sightings go all the way back to the 1960s. The most recent sighting was reported in 2012 to 2013 in Westmoreland County. Whether or not Bigfoot exists, a sighting excursion will be a blast and completely different than every other trip you take. Will you be the next person to find Sasquatch or beckon Bigfoot?

Preparing for your Trip

If you do decide to take a Bigfoot trip, make sure you are ready for whatever comes your way. From car trouble, to sighting documentation and food supply, we have a few pointers for your excursion in the woods:

Make sure you vehicle is up-to-date on its maintenance and the gas tank is full.
Pack extra water, vehicle fluids, and a fuel can if you are traveling a ways outside of the city.
Check the tread on your tires and the air pressure.
Pack a tow chain or rope to help you get out of sticky situations.
Remember basic camping gear, as squatching is done at night and in remote locations.
Make a bigfoot kit that includes a guide to wildlife, just in case you mistake a bird call for a Sasquatch song, a journal to record sighting data, night vision (if you own it), a camera, binoculars, and a smartphone to capture pics, videos, and audio.
