Visiting wineries has become a craze amongst groups of friends who are looking for something different to do. Where else can you sip on crisp blends of home grown spirits while enjoying beautiful landscapes? You will even learn something while you’re there. Bennett Toyota has come up with a list of some of our favorite Pennsylvania wineries for you to enjoy:

Deer Creek Winery

3333 Soap Fat Road

Shippenville, PA 16254

Deer Creek Winery is one of Pennsylvania’s youngest wineries that sits on land that has been family-owned for five generations. For years the farm specialized in raspberries, until 2009 when they began to specialize in raspberry wines. Deer Creek also offers unique blends of blackberry, rhubarb and concord grape wines. You can even buy balsamic vinegars and flavor-infused olive oils at the vineyard.

Ten Gallon Hat Winery

455 Old Baltimore Pike

Chadds Ford, PA 19317

Recently opened in Chadds Ford is the Ten Gallon Hat Winery tasting room. Here you can savor the flavors of reds, whites and fruity blends to compliment your own personal taste. Enjoy soups, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts at their winery and the occasional live musical performance, chocolate pairing, meet the artist gathering and more.

Wood Winery

3491 Hornbaker Cemetery Road

Madison Township, Pa 18444

Run by Ken and Donna Wood, Wood Winery hand crafts quality wines in small batches. Both their grape and fruit wines are released in limited supplies, so head to their tasting room to sample them and pick your favorites.
