Allentown is a landlocked city. Yet, when seafood cravings arise, residents and visitors don’t have to leave town to satisfy their appetites. There are a variety of seafood restaurants at different price points in Allentown.

Fairgrounds Hotel

The Fairgrounds Hotel is a popular location for those looking for a mouthwatering meal at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet enjoyable, as you await your food. Their current summer special brings the sea to your plate with seafood bakes, which includes a free slice of key lime pie. If you are in the mood for a lighter meal, try their lobster roll for $14.95. It comes with your choice of either soup or salad and a side.

Youell’s Oyster House

While the price point steps up into the moderate range, guests will enjoy the best crab cakes and more at Youell’s Oyster House. Known as the “Best Seafood Restaurant” in the area, it is located minutes from the PPL Center, making it an optimal place to dine before a show or game. Dinner options include a daily lobster fest from 4 p.m. until close. The restaurant offers a Happy Hour in their pub from 4-6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Henry’s Salt of the Sea

Enjoy delicious seafood with a bit of French flair at Henry’s Salt of the Sea. Some upper scale specialties include their Maryland Style Twin Cold Water Lobster Tails and Fruits de Mers. Henry’s offers early evening specials on Mondays through Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Seafood abounds in Allentown. Take a loved one out and celebrate its culinary offerings with a tasty morsel at one of the above three establishments.
