Car DealToyota near Emmaus is excited that this month, Toyota Motor Corporation and Mazda Motor Corporation have entered into a long term partnership. The coming-together will be beneficial to both companies equally. The plan is that the end result will be even better cars put out on the market than each company already produces.

The Toyota/Mazda Partnership

Toyota and Mazda are leveraging both companies’ resources so they can complement and enhance the products and technologies that each company possesses already. The goal is to put out more attractive cars that meet the diverse needs and desires of customers worldwide. A joint committee is being established to decide how to best utilize the strengths of each company. The committee is meant to encourage meaningful and broad collaboration that spans many fields, including advanced safety technologies and environmental technologies.

Joint Philosophies

The reason that Toyota and Mazda are able to collaborate is because they have recognized a major overlap between the corporate philosophy of Mazda of bringing happiness to people through vehicles, and the commitment by Toyota to making cars better and better, and their dedication to the structural reforms that take place company-wide for true competitiveness and growth that is sustainable. This partnership is past the traditional corporate framework, and it will aim to make an entire new value set for cars through mediums that are wide-ranging to a long term collaboration. Toyota and Mazda’s past collaboration has included Toyota licensing its hybrid technologies to Mazda and producing compact cars at Mazda’s Mexican plant for Toyota. The hope by executives is that in the next 100 years cars will continue to be as fun as the first century have been.
